Covers the full CPA Program subject fees and first-year Associate membership for tauira Māori becoming a qualified accountant.
Before you apply
Up to two are awarded a year and applications close once that allocation is exhausted, so there is no deadline to work back from — applying early in the year matters more than it would with a fixed date.
CPA Australia do not publish the application form, the supporting documents or the conditions on their website. To get them you email NZ@cpaaustralia.com.au with "Māori Scholarship" in the subject line and their team contacts you. Do that first rather than assuming you know what is required.
Several New Zealand university scholarship databases carry a fuller set of criteria for this scholarship, including a fixed August closing date and a different study requirement. Those pages disagree with CPA Australia’s own and appear to be out of date. Take the detail from CPA directly.
Submitted by CPA Australia in August 2026 and checked against their own scholarships page on 24 August. The link goes to the Māori scholarship section of that page.
