Before you apply

The Matatā Initiative itself is a $1 million, Engineering New Zealand Foundation-run funding mechanism (established by Dick and the late Mary Earle) that channels money through delivery partners like Pūhoro rather than taking direct student applications — this record covers Pūhoro's own delivery of it. Worth checking whether Great South (Southland) or Amanaki STEM Academy run their own directly-applicable version.
