Who can apply

“This grant supports groups or teams to deliver kaupapa that celebrate, strengthen and advance our culture that align with the Toitū Ngāti Porou Trust Deed and benefit our people.” Group applicants must “Be not-for-profit Community Groups / Teams with demonstrated links / whakapapa to Ngāti Porou,” Marae or Hapū within Ngāti Porou/Tairāwhiti, with “a minimum of 2 people in the roopu... of Ngāti Porou descent,” be registered on the TRONPnui database (18+, or under-18 with a Pakeke/Kaumātua acknowledgement), provide a full cost breakdown, and reside in Aotearoa.

Ngāti Porou — a not-for-profit group or team with demonstrated whakapapa links, at least 2 members of Ngāti Porou descent.
