Before you apply

Established 2024 in memory of kaumātua Pokaia Nepia, jointly funded by Waikato-Tainui and Department of Conservation settlement funds, administered through the University of Waikato. Unlike its sibling Taki Turner Scholarship, this scholarship's own regulations (clause 6.1) do not cap holding it alongside other University of Waikato scholarships — it may be held together with any other scholarship, award or prize unless the other scholarship's own conditions preclude this.
