Before you apply

ACC name it explicitly: rehabilitation must be delivered in a manner consistent with each client’s culture. For a kaupapa Māori provider that is not a nice-to-have in the tender, it is a stated requirement of the service — and an argument for why you are the right supplier rather than a competitor.

Scope covers secure licensed accommodation meeting health and disability sector requirements, supervision with client locations known at all times, provision and monitoring of general medical care, and progress and completion reports.

Separate from the wider Sensitive Claims Service contract, which is a different thing worth knowing about. That one is tendered by supplier size — large is 50 or more named service providers, medium is 10 to 49. Individual counsellors do not hold it themselves; they work through a supplier and apply to be a named service provider via Business Connect with a RealMe login, plus an ACC6243 form to Health.Procurement@acc.co.nz. If you already have an ACC Provider ID you do not reapply for one.
