Before you apply
Do not apply until the page says it has reopened. The funding guidelines say applications could be made from 5 August 2024 until the fund was fully allocated, so this record describes the fund as it was last run.
The guidelines say it funds an event, a wānanga, a group supporting these communities, or another kaupapa in line with the fund's aims. Its application does not need to centre on HIV prevention or sexual health, which is the Foundation's core work. Approved pūtea kaupapa grants over $5,000 are paid 80% upfront and 20% after a wrap-up report.
Applications over $2,500 need an estimated budget. Pūtea kaupapa also needs proof of the entity and proof of authority to apply.
