Listed so uri know it exists and is paused rather than finding nothing and concluding their iwi offers no support. Te Rūnanga o NgāiTakoto has temporarily put a hold on all new requests for financial support — educational grants and scholarships, sponsorships and general financial assistance — while it reviews and strengthens the process to be fairer and more transparent.

No date has been given for reopening. Updates will go on their website and social media. Tangihanga support is unaffected and still open, listed separately here.

One thing still available to registered members: a 15% discount at Ngāpae Holiday Park, quoting PIOKE when booking.
