Council fund for arts events contributing to a creative and exciting Palmerston North.
Before you apply
One of a large set of Palmerston North council funds, and worth knowing the others before choosing this one. There is a separate Community Arts fund for projects rather than events, an Events Development fund, a Major Events Fund for drawcard events, Arts Heart for performing arts education, a small ongoing fund for volunteer organisations, a waste minimisation fund, a heritage building fund, and a travel fund of up to $5,000 for people under 40 on an overseas or domestic project.
A kapa haka festival, a Matariki event or a wānanga on toi could fit several of those. Ring the council and ask which one suits before writing an application.
