Before you apply

This is Raukawa in the Waikato, not Ngāti Raukawa ki te Tonga. The Raukawa Charitable Trust is based in Tokoroa and serves registered Raukawa uri. Ngāti Raukawa ki te Tonga, based at Ōtaki, is a separate iwi with its own organisations.

Eligibility and process quoted from the application form itself (https://www.raukawa.org.nz/wp-content/uploads/2026/08/Kuia-Koroua-Grant-Digital.pdf), not the grants page, which carries no detail beyond a link. The form asks applicants to tick the purpose of their application — medical treatment/consult, home heating, food, or other — for reporting only, so it is not restricted to one category. “The Kuia & Koroua Wellbeing Grants Sub-Committee has delegated authority to accept or decline any application” and “all decisions are final.” 1-11 Raukawa Way, Tokoroa. 07 885 0260 or 0800 RAUKAWA.

Worth checking at the same time: the Raukawa Sports Grant and the four Raukawa education grants, all listed here.
