Who can apply
Whānau living in substandard housing situations, who own or occupy the house (or live in a whānau-owned house), hold or are eligible for a Community Services Card, cannot finance the full repair cost themselves, and have a vulnerable person living in the whare. Applicants must provide access and approvals for assessments.
Amount
Not fixed — demand across the rohe exceeds available funding, so not every eligible proposal is funded

Before you apply

Distinct from the New Builds — small-scale papakāinga and Māori Housing Network records already on file — this is specifically for repairing existing whānau-owned homes, not new construction.
