Up to $5,000 a year per catchment group for projects addressing water quality, climate resilience, biodiversity or soil conservation within the Mataura Catchment Freshwater Management Unit.

Read on the council's page, quoted verbatim: open to "catchment groups that are within the Mataura Catchment Freshwater Management Unit (FMU)" — "individual landowners are not eligible for funding, applications must be made through a catchment group."
