Before you apply

Worth knowing because it breaks the pattern. Every other trust in this group closes 30 April; this one runs to 30 June. Hard copy only. Send the form to The Secretary, Tatua East 3B Trust, c/- Deloitte, PO Box 12003, Rotorua. Trade training courses count, which the other trust grants do not spell out. Attach a pre-printed deposit slip or bank-verified account details, and either a confirmation of enrolment or a receipt for fees paid. Verified whakapapa signed by a shareholder is required unless you are already on the share register or have had a grant from this trust before. Check whether your whānau are owners through Māori Land Online, owner interest tab. Enquiries to Deloitte Rotorua, nzrotoruaenquiries@deloitte.co.nz or Lee Gray, leegray@deloitte.co.nz. Each trust sets its own criteria on its own application page. Mangorewa Kaharoa requires third year or above and allows one grant per lifetime; Kapenga M carries a grade threshold on its scholarship. Read this trust’s page before assuming the shared rules are the whole story.
