A $3,000 scholarship jointly funded with Parininihi ki Waitōtara for a second-year uri.
Before you apply
Two conditions that catch people. You must be endorsed by a living PKW shareholder, so find that person early. And if you have already received a Te Korowai o Ngāruahine scholarship you are ineligible for this one.
You can apply for as many PKW scholarships as you like, but only receive one a year. Involvement with Ngāruahine community kaupapa has to be demonstrated. Every one of these asks for a written statement on how you have contributed, or will contribute, to your hapū, marae and whānau development. That is not a formality here — it appears on every grant and scholarship, so write it once and write it properly. Your programme of study and career aspirations also have to contribute to the objectives of Te Korowai. kawarau@ngaruahine.iwi.nz.
