Apply through the members portal at tpow.whenua.org.nz — call He Akina, 07 378 5180, if you need your login. Email grants@tpow.co.nz or see tepaeowaimihia.com.

Te Pae o Waimihia runs several other member entitlements through the same portal: a Pakeke medical grant (up to $1,000 for specialised dental, vision or hearing treatment, or $500 for general health, for members 40+), a $500 dental grant (18–39), sporting and cultural representation grants ($200–$300), a $250 tamariki health care grant (0–17), a kura/kohanga reo grant for education providers in the rohe (listed separately), tangihanga support for Te Pae o Waimihia marae, and firewood for whānau in need in Taupō and Tūrangi. Opepe Farm Trust has contributed to this grant pool since 2024, since most of its owners also whakapapa to Te Pae o Waimihia.

He Akina is trust office for ten Taupō entities in total — see the Ngā Hapū o Wairakei listing for the full roster.
