Before you apply

The Trust Board describe this plainly: it is here to uplift and support kaumātua during a time of rising living costs. So it is for everyday cost of living rather than a specific expense, which sets it apart from the Kaumātua Medical Grant listed here with its published category limits for travel and eye treatment.

You must be registered with the Trust Board to apply — this one does not accept the other two Tūwharetoa registers. Ring +64 7 386 8832 for details, and ask about the Kaumātua Medical Grant in the same call since both are open and they cover different things.
